Pediatrics West, P.C. sees sick children by appointment only. We are not an urgent care facility or a walk-in clinic. If your child needs to be seen for a sick visit, please call to schedule an appointment. For sick care on weekends, please call WESTFORD first thing in the morning to ensure that your child will be seen.

Routine Calls (Day Only)

Please call the office where your child is usually seen for routine issues. Clerical issues will be handled while you wait. Questions for a medical staff member will be prioritized and either taken care of immediately or by a return phone call from the nurse or physician. Examples of this would include medication refills, appointments, checking lab results, etc.

Emergency Calls (Day or Night)

To obtain emergency medical care, dial 911. For urgent questions during office hours, please call the office where your child is usually seen. For urgent questions after regular hours and on weekends, please call the WESTFORD office (978-577-0437). Listen carefully to the voice-mail message. You will need to provide a call-back number to the paging service. The on-call nurse or physician will return your call. If you do not hear back within 15 minutes, please call again.

Urgent questions are those for which obtaining an answer within the next hour are important to your child's well-being. Examples of this would be high fevers, breathing problems, severe vomiting, etc. Please also call if you are uncertain if your child should go to the emergency room. The after-hours person is not able to schedule appointments for the next day.

From 495 N/S take Exit 32 (Boston Road) to Westford. (Traveling from North take LEFT turn, traveling from South take RIGHT turn.) At first light, turn LEFT onto Littleton Road (Rte.110). Drive through one set of lights, turn LEFT onto Nixon Road. Turn RIGHT into Emerson Hospital Health Center parking lot. Enter MAIN entrance. Suite 101 is the first door on the LEFT.
